NYC’s DJ Amir is known for stirring up large dance clubs with raucous, cutting-edge world beats that seamlessly fuse sounds from Cairo, Buenos Aires and Dakar. Culture Theory brought him to Seattle for the first time on March 18th, presenting him in style at local club Chop Suey. With a kaleidoscope of visual art projections and African, Samba and Middle-Eastern dancers, clubgoers were able to appreciate this talented DJ at his finest as they danced the night away in a wild marinade of sights and sounds.
